Who is my School Counselor?

  • Mrs. Lisa Marcotte (Last name A - G)
  • Mrs. Beth Huppert (Last name H - O)
  • Mrs. Brooke Snow (Last name P - Z)
Where is my School Counselor located?

School Counselors' offices are in the Eagle Center!  The Eagle Center is in the 300s area before you reach the 7th and 8th grade villages.

What are some reasons to see my School Counselor?

There are many reasons to see your School Counselor.  School Counselors work with students in three main areas:  academic support, social/emotional support and career exploration.

What does “confidentiality” mean as it relates to meeting with my School Counselor?

Confidentiality means that whatever is shared with your School Counselor, stays with your School Counselor.

What would be some reasons to break this “confidentiality?”

A School Counselor's primary responsibility is to keep you safe.  That being said, there may be a need to share information with other staff, administrators, parents, or other community resources (police, CPS, social workers, etc.) if a student mention things about them or others: -hurting oneself -hurting another person -destroying property -being involved in abuse.

When can students see their School Counselor?

Students can meet with their School Counselor before school, during lunch or after school. If a student is struggling during class time and the student feels that it cannot wait until one of those times they are always welcome to ask their teacher for a pass down to the Eagle Center.  We are here for you!

If you come in to the Eagle Center and your School Counselor is not available or not in the office at that time you are welcome to fill out a blue Eagle Center Request Form to let us know that we've missed you.  You would place that form in the bin on our door and we will send you a blue pass to come down to the Eagle Center when we are available.  Students are also welcome to email us through Canvas.  We look forward to seeing you!
