MVMS Gulls Game on Friday Dec. 7th

Please join MVMS for Teddy Bear Toss Night with the San Diego Gulls on Saturday December 7th! Tickets are $25 plus taxes and fees. A portion of each ticket is donated to MVMS ASB! All fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal. They will be thrown on the ice during the game and then donated to various organizations for the Holidays! Check out the flyer to get your tickets!
Additionally, MVMS ASB will be having a Teddy Bear/Stuffed Animal Drive November 18th - December 6th and all "stuffies" donated will be brought to the game for MVMS families to grab and throw on the ice!

Ebikes, Bike Permits, Corrected Link

All students who ride ebikes, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards will need to take the online MVMS safety quiz and turn in the MVMS permit application to the front office. Any quiz taken online before 9/27/2024 did not go through due to technical difficulties.

Enforcement will begin by campus security/supervisors Monday, October 14, 2024.
A Bike Permit will be required for ALL ebike, bicycles, scooters, and skateboards. Ebikes will have the permit/sticker from the CHP class and the number needs to be added to the MVMS application. Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards will have the MVMS non-motorized permit/sticker. The safety questions are a priority!

Math 6/7 Summer Test Dates

The Poway Unified School District will be offering math placement testing for incoming 6th grade students. The testing will be offered on the following days at Sundance Elementary School, 8944 Twin Trails Dr., San Diego 92129:
• June 18: 1:00 PM
• August 8: 9:00 AM
• August 14: 1:00 PM

Bike Permits are required!

As of October 2nd, bike permits are required for all bicycles, scooters, E-bikes and skateboards. If your student turned in the Permit Application and passed the online quiz, they should come into the front office to pick up their permit. MVMS will be conducting surprise Permit checks. We will be looking for permit# and names that match the bicycles, scooters, E-bikes and skateboards. Moving forward there will be consequences for bike permit violations.
